"I have always been a fairly fit female, spending 5 days in the gym, researching and creating some of my own workouts, playing soccer, and running; however, as I neared 40, not only did I notice my body start to change, but I was beginning to feel stagnant and uninspired. Noticing Justin’s workouts in a gym setting set me to learning about what he does and resulted in my decision to embark on a plan with my husband to be our best at 40!
I hired Justin to write all of my training plans, macros, and meal plans for 12 weeks. He took my busy life as a mom and business owner into account, and talked with me about my goals for fitness and overall health. There were some ups and downs in learning what would work with my body. Aside from all that I learned in working with Justin and reading his materials, he was a true coach. He stuck with me in figuring out foods and numbers that would work for me and boosted my low days with encouragement and new ideas!
Today, 12 weeks later, my body fat has dropped by 5% and I have gained 3% in muscle. My weight has dropped from 142lbs to 135 (my pre-established goal weight). More importantly, as a 40 year old woman, I feel physically and mentally stronger and healthier. I have decided to continue with Justin for another 12 weeks to challenge myself with new workouts and to continue to develop my fitness and nutrition. Additionally, with a dramatic improvement in my hiking speed and endurance from last summer, I adopted the challenge of hiking all 48 4000 foot summits in the White Mountains."
